From Brief to Beautiful: Our Simple 4-Step Process

Building trust through transparency

Prepare Your Artwork

To ensure the best possible print quality, please prepare your artwork with the following specifications:

  • All images and graphics must be at least 300 DPI (dots per inch) resolution to guarantee sharp, professional results.
  • Save your final artwork as a high-resolution PDF, EPS, or SVG file format—these formats preserve quality and ensure accurate colour reproduction.
  • Finally, include bleed (typically 3mm extra around all edges) and trim marks in your file setup; this allows our printers to cut your materials precisely without leaving unwanted white borders or accidentally trimming into your design.

Submit & Specify

Getting started with our Just Print service is simple and straightforward. First, upload your ready-to-print artwork using our secure file upload system. Next, choose your preferred paper weight (from 120GSM to 380GSM) and finish—whether that's pulp for a natural feel, silk for elegant smoothness, or gloss for vibrant impact. Then, select the quantity you need; we offer flexible options with no minimum order requirements and cost savings on larger runs. Finally, confirm your preferred turnaround time—standard jobs are completed within 2–3 working days, or we can accommodate rush orders with minimal additional cost to meet your deadline.

Quality Review

Before we send anything to print, we conduct a thorough quality check to protect your investment. Our team carefully reviews your file for print readiness, checking resolution, colour modes, bleeds, and formatting to ensure optimal results. We then confirm all specifications with you—paper choice, quantity, finish, and turnaround—so there are no surprises. If we spot any potential issues that could affect the final output, such as low-resolution images or incorrect sizing, we'll flag them immediately and suggest solutions.

Only once you've reviewed everything and given your approval do we proceed to printing, ensuring you're completely confident in what you'll receive.

We stand behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee: if you're not completely happy with the quality of your print, we'll reprint it at no extra cost to you.

Understanding Paper Weight

Paper weight is a crucial factor in the print and design industry, influencing the feel, durability, and overall quality of printed materials. It is measured in grams per square meter (gsm) or pounds (lb), with higher numbers indicating thicker, heavier paper. Choosing the right paper weight can enhance the visual appeal and tactile experience of your printed products, ensuring they leave a lasting impression.

  • What does GSM mean?

GSM stands for "grams per square metre" and measures the weight and thickness of paper. The higher the GSM, the thicker and more substantial the paper feels

  • What paper weight should I choose for business cards?

We recommend 300GSM to 380GSM for business cards. This weight range feels premium and durable, making a strong first impression while withstanding regular handling in wallets and pockets.

  • What's the best paper weight for flyers and leaflets?

For flyers and leaflets, 150GSM to 170GSM works well. It's substantial enough to feel quality without being too heavy or costly, especially for bulk distribution.

  • What weight is suitable for brochures?

Brochures typically use 150GSM to 200GSM for inner pages and 250GSM to 300GSM for covers. This combination provides durability while allowing the brochure to fold smoothly.

  • Can I use lighter paper weights to save money?

A: Yes, lighter weights (120GSM to 150GSM) are cost-effective for high-volume items like newsletters or inserts. However, remember that thinner paper may feel less premium and can be more transparent.

  • What's the difference between 300GSM and 400GSM?

The difference is noticeable when held—400GSM feels significantly more rigid and luxurious. For most business cards and marketing materials, 300GSM to 380GSM offers the perfect balance of quality and practicality.

  • Does paper weight affect printing quality?

Heavier paper generally holds ink better and produces richer colours with less show-through. It also feels more professional, which can enhance your brand perception.
