CASE STUDY - TINA HEATON - MOVE IT OR LOSE IT
Designing & printing a yearly Christmas Card for her clients
About MOVE IT OR LOSE IT
Move It or Lose It is a national health and wellbeing organisation dedicated to keeping older adults active, connected, and independent. Founded in 2010 by award-winning exercise instructor Julie Robinson, the company has grown into a nationwide network of instructors delivering exercise classes to thousands of older people every week.
Tina Heaton is one of those instructors — running her own low-impact exercise classes for the over-60s under the Move It or Lose It banner. Designed to be fun, relaxed, and accessible, Tina's classes welcome participants whether seated, supported, or standing — bringing movement and community together for those who need it most.
The Challenge
When Christmas came around, Tina wanted to do something special for her class members — a personal, thoughtful touch to show how much she values the community she has built. With the festive season already well underway, she approached Patrick Stephen Ltd with a tight deadline and a clear need: beautifully designed and professionally printed Christmas cards, delivered in time to matter.
Our document design and print services are built for exactly this kind of brief — limited time, no room for error, and a result that still needs to feel considered and personal. It's the kind of challenge Patrick Stephen Ltd thrives on.
THE SOLUTION
Patrick Stephen Ltd got to work quickly, applying our advert design expertise to craft a bespoke Christmas card that put Tina's community front and centre. Rather than a generic festive design, we created something truly personal — a vibrant purple card featuring real photos of Tina's class members, showcasing the joy, fun, and friendship that defines her sessions throughout the year.
A large decorative bauble takes centre stage, carrying a "Merry Christmas" message in a warm, handcrafted style, while a gift tag bearing the Move It or Lose It with Tina branding ties everything neatly back to her identity — a great example of how considered logo and brand design keeps every touchpoint consistent.
Surrounding it, four candid photographs capture her members in their element — from themed class days to social gatherings — a genuine reflection of the community Tina has worked so hard to build.
Despite the tight turnaround, the finished card was handled end-to-end through our print services and delivered in time for Tina to share with her class members before Christmas — personal, polished, and something her community could genuinely cherish.
